                                                                                                                                                                                                                     STEVE ROONEY CYCLING TOURS - TOUR de FRANCE TOUR 2024 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  It is essential that you carefully read and understand these booking conditions, which contain important information. They              constitute the contract between Steve Rooney Cycling Tours for the services provided and set out the basis of your legal              relationship with Steve Rooney Cycling Tours. By signing this document, you acknowledge that you have read and understood    and agree to these conditions.

   

1. A deposit of $1000 per person is required. Non refundable deposit after our full tour itinerary is announced.

2. A mid payment of $1500.00 is due by 25th January 2024.

3. Final payment is due by16th of April 2024. Cancellation after full payment is up to 90-100%.

4. Prices are subject to change until paid in full.

5. A comprehensive travel insurance policy is compulsory, non negotiable. Without travel insurance you are unable to join the tour. A copy of your comprehensive insurance cover will be required before tour start.                                                                Steve Rooney Cycling Tours recommends a comprehensive policy from a provider such as Cover-More Travel Insurance or a policy provided by a reputable insurance broker.

5.1.We recommend travel insurance must cover accidents, all medical & hospital expenses, personal injury or death, personal            liability, flights, cancellation, loss of luggage, your bike and portable valuables.

   6.  Your passport must be valid for 6 months after your return date.

   7. If you are extending your trip by arriving earlier or departing later, or making a stopover on route, Steve Rooney Cycling                 Tours will not accept any liability however caused which may result in yourself becoming unavailable for the set tour dates             and destination times.

   8. Travelling with Steve Rooney Cycling Tours requires a certain measure of flexibility and good humour, understanding that             the itinerary, accommodation and modes of transport may be changed, even after the tour commencement without notice.

 8.1.Changes may occur due to poor road conditions, weather, vehicle breakdown or other circumstances beyond Steve Rooney         Cycling Tours control.

   9. Tour participants and any accompanying family or friends must adhere to local laws. Minors under the age of 18 years must          not drink alcohol during the tour.

 10. By participating in the tour you grant Steve Rooney Cycling Tours permission to use tour photographs for their website.

  11.Due to the popularity of the Tour de France, accommodation is understandably very difficult to secure. Any deposits                       received after the due date may result in an additional cost to secure rooms or result in a place being unavailable.

 12. Any unforeseen changes outside of the organiser’s control made by airlines, accommodation or car providers that incurs               cost will be passed onto the tour participants.

  13. Steve Rooney Cycling Tours takes no responsibility for any unforeseen events outside their control due to force majeure.              Force majeure means a circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Steve Rooney Cycling Tours and includes but is              not limited to natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, and political upheaval.

  14. Steve Rooney Cycling Tours reserves the right to cancel tours if minimum tour participation numbers are not reached. In              this instance the deposit paid will be refunded in full.

  15. All COVID 19 restrictions apply, customers will need to show proof of any future restriction paperwork.

 

DECLARATION I have voluntarily chosen to participate in this program of physical exercise. I assume all risks for my health and wellbeing and that Steve Rooney Cycling or Steve Rooney cannot be held responsible for any accidents, injuries or death that occur during the trip.I have my full travel insurance and Steve Rooney Cycling Tours has been given a copy.

 

I acknowledge that by signing this declaration I have agreed to the terms and conditions on page 1 of this document and I have purchased my own personal insurance.
