Take a scenic ride around Lac du Bourget the largest natural lake in France. Climbing Col du Chat before descending into Chanaz. Then roll alongside the Lake to our hotel. [ Ride Aprox 50km ] Group Lunch & Group welcome Dinner
Monday 1st JULY
We head out to Alp d'Huez arguably the most famous climb in cycling. Here we ride all 21 hairpin corners to the top of Alpe d’Huez. A day you will never forget.

Tuesday 2nd JULY
LIVE STAGE. We head out to Col Du Lautaret then onto the spectacular and daunting climb of the Col du Galibier, where we will get up close with the tour riders. This climb has been used in the Tour de France many times over the past few years with the last one in 2022 [ Ride Aprox 38km ] Group Lunch
Wednesday 3rd JULY
LIVE STAGE. We head out to the west of Chambery and take our place on the road and watch the tour caravan come through with all the goodies they throw out to the crowd.

Thursday 4th JULY
Heading up the eastern side of lac du Bourget then head north of the Lac to the daunting climb of the Grand Col du Colombier. This climb has been used in the Tour de France several times over the past few years and the 2023 stage finished on top of the mountain top. The view back down to Lac du Bourget and the vast French country side is spectacular. We then heading back along the Lac to our hotel. [ Ride Aprox 90km ]

Friday 5th JULY
Take a scenic ride around Lac du Bourget the largest natural lake in France. Climbing Col du Chat before descending into French Vineyards before arriving into Chanaz for group lunch . Then over my favourite climb the Col du Sapenay. Roll through little villages nestled against the roadside that opens up to lush forest roads with great hairpins and finally descend back to our hotel. [ Ride Aprox 76km ] Group Lunch

Saturday 6th JULY
Today we take the Eastern side of Lac du Bourget up to our first Col of the day Col de la Chambotte. This 5km 10% climb takes us up to a spectacular viewing platform over looking the lake, we then take a long descent through some spectacular country roads before ascending the Cat: 1 climb of Mont Revard, a 1537m summit with a gradient of 5.6%. At the summit we have an incredible view down to our hotel, the lake and Mont du Chat.

Sunday 7th JULY
You have a choice of a well earned REST DAY or ride along the Eastern side of Lac du Bourget and climb the Col du Clergeon, before heading back down the climb and head back along the beautiful blue Lake.

Monday 8th JULY
We roll out along the Western side of lac Annecy to the Col de la Forclaz a 7.2km climb at 7.3%. This climb was in the 2023 tour.

Tuesday 9th JULY
Following the lac once again around to the shallow gradients of the Col de Leschaux, then onto the steeper gradients of the CAT 1 climb of Le Semnoz. [ Ride Aprox 75km ] Group Dinner

Wednesday 10th JULY
All great thing must come to a end, after breakfast we say goodbye to the group, but we all will have great new memories that will last a life time. You can continue on your European tour or Busses leave for Annecy train station, or stay on for a few days in the beautiful town of Annecy.
